  3. Prepare technical scopes of work for contracts and support procurement of major equipment.
  4. Collaborate with suppliers to integrate major equipment and ensure clear communication of specifications.
  5. Manage project milestones, recognize risks, and keep stakeholders informed of progress and technical issues.
  6. Understand permitting requirements, propose solutions to legal challenges, and recommend site design improvements.
  7. Travel up to 25% for project-specific duties.

Required Qualifications

  1. 3+ years of engineering experience, with a strong background in energy storage, solar/PV, or related power infrastructure.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  3. Experience with power electronics, battery storage system design, substation design, or generation tie design.
  4. Familiarity with lithium-ion battery storage safety standards (UL1973, UL9540, UL9540A, NFPA 855, NFPA 70E, NEC, and applicable IFC/IBC sections).
  5. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no alcohol/drug-related offenses in the past five years; no current suspension or restrictions).
  6. Ability to work onsite in Juno Beach, FL, or remotely with regular travel to the office.

Preferred Skills

  1. 3+ years of experience in solar/PV engineering and/or construction.
  2. Familiarity with energy storage technologies, including battery chemistries, power conversion units, and DC/DC converters.
  3. Knowledge of IEC 61215, 61646, and 61730 standards.
  4. Ability to handle specialized technical tasks independently.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
