Electrical Supervisor
Electrical Supervisor – Juno Beach, FL (Onsite) – Solar Electrical Installation & Quality Control
Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor with a strong electrical background to support solar construction projects in Juno Beach, FL. This contract role is expected to last 12 months and focuses on overseeing electrical installation quality, coordinating with EPC contractors and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
In this role, you will serve as a key site leader, verifying that electrical and fiber installations meet contract requirements and supporting field commissioning and project turnover. You will work closely with engineering, safety, and quality control teams to drive successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret all drawings, contract documents, specifications, and quality documentation to ensure accurate execution.
- Collaborate with EPC contractors, subcontractors, operations teams, and other site personnel to maintain alignment and resolve field issues.
- Verify that drawings, submittals, and specifications are accurate and reflect current project requirements.
- Apply working knowledge of SCADA and fiber optics systems to support electrical installation and integration.
- Oversee electrical and fiber testing, including TTR, VLF, ODTR, Fall of Potential, and VOC testing.
- Perform inspections of installed equipment to confirm correct installation per scope of work and specifications.
- Facilitate the Request for Information (RFI) process with the EPC and site engineering teams.
- Use Unifier to record, name, and upload electrical installation QC photographs and documentation.
- Report daily, weekly, and monthly on progress, quality control, and safety performance.
- Support field commissioning and project turnover activities, including review of completion documentation.
- Interface with designated safety, engineering, and quality control parties to maintain compliance.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with the EPC and other site stakeholders.
- Champion safety as the number one priority on all sites and follow all company rules and policies.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant construction management experience, preferably in solar or electrical construction.
- Strong understanding of electrical installation, SCADA, fiber optics, and electrical testing methods.
- Experience with quality control processes, RFI workflows, and construction documentation tools such as Unifier.
- Valid non-restricted current driver's license with no alcohol or drug-related driving offenses within the previous five years.
- Ability to work onsite in Juno Beach, FL; driving is required as part of position duties.
Preferred Skills
- Field commissioning and project turnover experience.
- Hands-on familiarity with TTR testing, VLF testing, ODTR testing, Fall of Potential testing, and VOC testing.
