About the Role
Our client is seeking a Data Product Manager to lead the full lifecycle of data-centric products, with a strong emphasis on 0-to-1 ideation, prototyping, and execution. In this role, you will translate ambiguous opportunities into validated, scalable data products that align with user needs and drive measurable business value within the Data Office. This is a 3-month contract position based on-site in Juno Beach, FL.
You will work at the intersection of product strategy, AI/ML innovation, and data engineering, guiding concepts from initial discovery through functional prototypes and into production-ready solutions. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical depth, product intuition, and the ability to collaborate across business and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Define product strategy and vision aligned with enterprise goals, and develop a phased roadmap that evolves from 0-to-1 discovery through scaled delivery.
- Lead 0-to-1 ideation cycles by transforming undefined problem spaces into structured product concepts with clear business cases, conducting user research, and facilitating design sessions with stakeholders.
- Architect and deliver functional prototypes, including AI-enabled capabilities, to demonstrate product value and de-risk full-scale investment; establish success criteria and manage the transition to production.
- Partner with engineering and solution architects to translate discovery insights and validated prototypes into prioritized product features, leveraging data migration and pipeline tools such as Databricks and AWS Glue.
- Engage stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, communicate product status, and advocate for alignment with business objectives.
- Utilize data analysis tools to derive actionable insights that inform product decisions and ensure data accuracy and quality within products.
- Define and monitor KPIs to assess product performance and return on investment, and prepare reports, presentations, and product collateral to communicate results.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related analytical field.
- Proven experience in product management with a focus on data products, discovery, and 0-to-1 product delivery.
- Strong technical background with an understanding of data technologies, AI/ML tooling, and data migration frameworks.
- Hands-on familiarity with Databricks, AWS Glue, or equivalent data pipeline and migration tools.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage product roadmaps.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of working cross-functionally with engineering, data science, and business stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with LLMs, generative AI, and incorporating AI/ML components into prototypes.
- Proficiency with data migration services (DMS) and data analysis techniques.
- Skills in wireframing, usability testing, and rapid prototyping to validate concepts.
- Experience defining and monitoring KPIs for data products.
- Master's degree in an analytical field is a plus.
