Communications and Digital Content Lead  – Palm Beach Gardens, FL (On-site)

5 Month Contract

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Business Systems Analyst to lead the communications strategy and digital content management for a major SDLC transformation. This 5-month contract role blends deep business systems analysis with hands-on communications and content leadership. You will analyze business processes, identify functional gaps, and ensure alignment between IT solutions and business strategies, while also developing and executing a comprehensive communications plan that drives awareness, understanding, and adoption of the updated SDLC.

Working from the Juno Beach office, you will act as a trusted advisor to both technical teams and business stakeholders, applying your expertise in IT budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to recommend system enhancements. You will also own the information architecture, content structure, and ongoing governance of a new AI communications hub, creating clear, engaging content for diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain the SDLC communications strategy, audience plan, editorial calendar, and content backlog to ensure consistent, timely messaging.
  2. Produce and distribute a biweekly SDLC newsletter, draft executive announcements, leadership talking points, and manager communications.
  3. Create audience-specific content that explains the rationale, impact, and required actions for SDLC changes.
  4. Lead the information architecture, content structure, launch, and governance of the FPLS AI communications hub, including landing pages for handbooks, training, process maps, and support resources.
  5. Establish publishing, approval, version control, accessibility, and archiving standards for all digital content.
  6. Coordinate sponsor video scripts, storyboards, production, transcripts, and companion written content.
  7. Monitor content effectiveness through page visits, newsletter engagement, downloads, and feedback, and conduct message testing to continuously improve.
  8. Maintain brand, terminology, privacy, confidentiality, and editorial quality standards across all channels.
  9. Create manager and change-champion communication toolkits and rapid-response communications for emerging issues.
  10. Support go-live communications, known-issue updates, office-hours promotion, and post-launch reinforcement.

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Communications, or Marketing.
  2. 11–15 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst with demonstrated expertise in IT budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  3. Four or more years developing communications for organizational, process, or technology change initiatives.
  4. Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and message-development skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear employee communications.
  5. Experience managing digital content, SharePoint sites, intranet pages, or internal communications hubs.
  6. Advanced graphic design skills, including the ability to create polished layouts, visual communications, and digital assets using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or comparable platforms.
  7. Proven ability to manage multiple content deadlines, stakeholders, and approval cycles while building effective customer relationships with business and technical teams.

Preferred Skills

  1. Experience supporting SDLC, cybersecurity, digital transformation, or technology governance initiatives.
  2. Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Stream, and video production for executive and multimedia content.
  3. Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive communication standards.
  4. Experience using content analytics to measure and improve communication effectiveness.
