About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Project Scheduler II to join their Engineering and Construction Scheduling Team in Juno Beach, Florida. In this role, you will collaborate directly with Project Originators, Developers, Early Stage Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Construction Managers to support a diverse portfolio of energy projects. These projects span technologies including Wind, Solar, Energy Storage, Transmission Lines, Substations, Pipelines, and Combined Cycle facilities.
Reporting to the group Manager, you will be a key player in driving project success across the entire lifecycle. Your scheduling expertise and technical acumen will be essential for developing effective, accurate schedules, coordinating multidisciplinary meetings, and delivering clear status reports to management.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and progress detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 software.
- Prepare monthly reports comparing baseline approved schedules to actual progress, highlighting variances.
- Perform critical path method analysis, resource loading, cost loading, and manpower submittal analysis.
- Evaluate the impact of schedule updates and aid in the development of recovery plans.
- Gather scope, logistics, and constraints from all project participants to build accurate plans.
- Lead Schedule Review Meetings, coordinating requirements to keep resources focused on the right activities.
- Report project status and variances to management in a clear, concise manner.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent applicable experience.
- Proven ability to work independently and proactively drive project schedule updates.
- Experience leading Schedule Review Meetings with diverse project stakeholders.
- Strong skills in critical path method analysis, resource loading, and cost loading.
- Excellent process management, prioritization, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to report complex data clearly.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Renewable Energy Projects (Wind, Solar, Energy Storage).
- Background in Transmission Line, Substation, or Pipeline project scheduling.
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management principles.
