Sourcing Specialist – Juno Beach, FL (On-site) – Procurement & Purchase Order Management


Job Summary

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Sourcing Specialist to join their supply chain and procurement operations team in Juno Beach, FL. This is a 12-month contract role focused on the accurate creation and lifecycle management of purchase orders, supporting critical system transitions, and collaborating across procurement, planning, and finance functions to drive efficient purchasing workflows.

In this position, you will play a key part in maintaining data integrity, resolving past-due orders, and preparing the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) system for migration to GEP. The ideal candidate brings hands-on procurement experience, advanced Excel skills, and a proactive approach to process improvement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Create and issue purchase orders (POs) accurately and within established timelines to support operational needs.
  • Manage the full PO lifecycle, including updates, confirmations, and prompt resolution of discrepancies or issues.
  • Lead data cleanup and validation initiatives to ensure system accuracy and audit readiness.
  • Support the transition from the current SRM system to GEP by preparing data, testing workflows, and documenting processes.
  • Identify and resolve past-due purchase orders, working cross-functionally to clear bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with procurement, planning, finance, and supplier partners to maintain seamless purchasing operations.
  • Contribute to process standardization and continuous improvement efforts across the supply chain function.


Required Qualifications

  • Experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or related operations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and pivot tables.
  • Comfortable working with ERP, SRM, or procurement systems.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Valid, non-restricted driver's license with a clean driving record (driving is required as part of position duties).


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with GEP or similar procurement platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Background in contract negotiation or advanced data analysis.
