Senior IT Programmer Analyst – Juno Beach, FL (On-site) – Nuclear Data & Analytics Focus


About the Role

Our client is seeking a Senior IT Programmer Analyst to lead data-driven initiatives and implement advanced analytical solutions within their Nuclear IT division. This contract role, running through the end of 2026, requires a strong background in data engineering, analytics, and nuclear industry knowledge to drive decision-making and optimize operations. The position is based on-site at the Juno Beach office.

This role assesses, designs, develops, integrates, and troubleshoots technology to support business processes. You will provide technical and functional guidance to project teams, ensuring the reliability, performance, security, and continuity of IT systems while delivering excellent technical support services.

Please note: Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be US citizens or US Permanent Residents.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, and deploy data and analytics solutions that directly support nuclear operations and strategic decision-making.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across IT, engineering, and operations to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
  3. Architect and implement robust data pipelines, data warehousing, and ETL processes to ensure high-quality, accessible data.
  4. Build strong foundational data pipelines to enable AI and machine learning initiatives.
  5. Develop advanced analytical models and algorithms to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  6. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry regulations and standards, including data quality, governance, retention, and privacy.
  7. Provide Level 3 support for existing Power BI reports and lead projects when needed, building a strong understanding of the delivered solution.


Required Qualifications

  1. Expert-level knowledge of Oracle, Databricks, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
  2. Hands-on experience with Power BI architecture, AWS DMS, Microsoft Co-pilot, and Microsoft Studio.
  3. Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL and experience with big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark.
  4. Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data visualization tools, particularly Power BI.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  7. Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to nuclear data management and security.


Preferred Skills

  1. Experience with real-time and IoT data streams.
  2. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS and GCP) and their data services.
  3. Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence applications, including Gen AI.
  4. Familiarity with Open Search and Neo4J.
