About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous Data Quality Analyst for a 5-month contract opportunity in Juno Beach, Florida. In this role, you will be the guardian of organizational data, ensuring its accuracy, consistency, and reliability to empower strategic business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to establish robust data governance practices and resolve complex data anomalies.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce data quality standards, rules, and policies to ensure consistency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and analyze complex data sets to proactively identify errors, inconsistencies, and anomalies, then execute data cleansing, validation, and standardization processes.
- Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and database developers to define data requirements and optimize collection and storage procedures.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis on data quality issues and implement sustainable corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
- Design and generate reports and dashboards that track key data quality metrics, effectively communicating trends and risks to management.
- Identify and champion process improvement opportunities that enhance overall data management and long-term data integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a data analysis, data management, or data quality role.
- Strong technical proficiency with SQL for database querying and analysis.
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and ETL frameworks.
- Experience with programming or scripting languages such as XML or JavaScript.
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make data-driven recommendations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, reliable data.
- Hands-on experience with reporting tools like Business Objects or similar platforms.
- Working knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
Preferred Skills
While not required, additional experience with advanced data visualization tools or specific data quality platforms is a plus. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
