About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Associate to join their procurement team in Juno Beach, FL. This is a 12-month contract position designed for early-career professionals who are eager to build their skills in strategic sourcing and procurement operations. In this role, you will support the day-to-day execution of procurement activities, ensuring the efficient and compliant purchasing of goods and services.
You will collaborate closely with internal business partners and external suppliers to facilitate sourcing events, process transactions, and maintain accurate documentation. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full procure-to-pay lifecycle within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business units to understand project scope, specifications, and timelines, providing clear guidance on procurement processes and ensuring policy alignment.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to qualified suppliers, coordinate supplier communications, and manage bid timelines.
- Track, organize, and support the commercial evaluation of supplier proposals to facilitate informed sourcing decisions.
- Create and process purchase orders within the procurement system, validating alignment with approved quotes and budgets.
- Process change orders for scope, cost, or schedule adjustments, securing proper approvals and maintaining accurate revision histories.
- Maintain comprehensive procurement documentation, including quotes, purchase orders, and contract records, while assisting with contract renewals and amendments.
- Coordinate across internal teams to support issue resolution and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain.
- Ability to effectively partner with business units and external suppliers.
- Working knowledge of procurement processes and policy compliance.
- Proficiency with procurement systems and documentation management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
While not required, experience with purchase order management, change order processing, or contract administration in a fast-paced corporate environment is a plus.
