About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Sourcing Specialist to join their team in Juno Beach, FL. This is a 12-month contract position supporting the execution of strategic sourcing processes and supplier management within the nuclear industry. The role is ideal for an early-career professional with a foundational understanding of nuclear engineering and a passion for driving value through effective procurement and contract management.
In this position, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement sourcing policies, assist in supplier selection, and contribute to cost optimization initiatives. You will develop fundamental skills in contract negotiations and supplier relationship management while upholding the highest standards of integrity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute sourcing processes and implement policies to secure contracted services and materials for nuclear operations.
- Support supplier selection, qualification, and ongoing performance evaluation to ensure quality and reliability.
- Assist in bid analysis, negotiations, and the development of sourcing agreements that align with business objectives.
- Provide data analysis and forecasting support to inform strategic sourcing decisions and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop fundamental contract management skills and contribute to cost optimization and risk mitigation efforts.
- Conduct all business dealings with integrity, strictly adhering to corporate, legal, and environmental regulations.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of sourcing or procurement experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the nuclear industry, specifically relating to engineering.
- Undergraduate degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Juno Beach, FL, during standard business hours (8 AM – 5 PM, 40 hours per week).
Preferred Skills
While not required, experience with complex sourcing agreements and strategic supplier relationship management is a plus. Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are highly valued.
