Salesforce Tech Lead – Juno Beach, FL (On-site) – Enterprise Integration & AI-Augmented Delivery
About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Salesforce Tech Lead to join their IT Salesforce team. This role goes beyond traditional Salesforce development—it sits at the intersection of enterprise integration architecture, data engineering, and AI-augmented delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment, leads with technical depth, and embraces Generative AI and Agentic AI tools as a core part of their daily engineering workflow.
This is a 6-month contract opportunity based on-site in Juno Beach, FL, offering the chance to drive complex, multi-system solutions while mentoring a team of developers and shaping platform strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Salesforce solution design across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications, ensuring scalability, security, and governance.
- Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and DevOps best practices, including CI/CD via Salesforce DX, Git, and pipeline tooling.
- Design and implement MuleSoft-based integrations connecting Salesforce to enterprise systems, building and maintaining REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware orchestration patterns.
- Own Salesforce data architecture, including data modeling, schema governance, and leading data migration efforts from legacy platforms with robust transformation and reconciliation.
- Leverage Agentic AI platforms daily to accelerate story creation, code generation, test automation, and design documentation, applying prompt engineering best practices.
- Enforce platform governance, user access management, and compliance with NERC and utility-sector standards, supporting security reviews and audit-ready documentation.
- Lead and mentor a team of onshore and offshore Salesforce developers, participate in Agile ceremonies, and coordinate with QA leads to drive defect resolution.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
- Deep expertise in Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce platform internals.
- Strong experience with MuleSoft or equivalent integration platforms (REST APIs, event-driven architecture, middleware patterns).
- Proven track record in data migration projects, including ETL design, transformation logic, reconciliation, and cutover execution.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling.
- Active daily use of Generative AI and/or Agentic AI tools in a software delivery context.
- Experience with Experience Cloud, Service Cloud case management, and workflow automation.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification (required); Integration Architecture Designer or Data Architecture Designer certification strongly preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in regulated utility, energy, or infrastructure sectors with awareness of compliance and audit requirements.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud, Einstein Analytics, or Agentforce.
- Hands-on experience with Windsurf, Devin, or similar Agentic AI coding platforms.
- Knowledge of Documentum, Excalibur, or enterprise content management systems.
- Background in multi-vendor offshore/nearshore delivery models.
- MuleSoft Certified Developer or Integration Associate certification.
