Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Power Platform DevOps Engineer to support enterprise digital transformation initiatives. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining Power Apps and Power Automate solutions that enhance business processes, improve operational efficiency, and ensure strong governance across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, governance teams, and M365 operations.
Key Responsibilities
Power Platform Development & Administration
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) and Power Automate
- Work with Power Platform Admin Center, CoE (Center of Excellence), environments, Dataverse, capacity planning, and security roles
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook
- Ensure all solutions comply with organizational security, governance, and compliance standards
Solution Enhancement & Support
- Maintain and enhance existing Power Apps and Power Automate workflows
- Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and implement best practices for scalability and reliability
Integration & Development
- Develop solutions using Power Fx, JSON, and REST APIs
- Build and manage custom connectors for third-party integrations
Documentation & Governance
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation including architecture diagrams, workflows, and user guides
- Maintain version control, change logs, and solution documentation
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with business users, governance teams, and M365 operations teams
- Participate in requirement gathering, training sessions, and community of practice discussions
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven)
- Expertise in Power Automate
- Hands-on experience with Dataverse, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 governance and compliance frameworks
Integration & Development
- Proficiency in Power Fx, JSON, and REST APIs
- Experience building and managing connectors (including custom connectors)
Documentation & Communication
- Strong ability to create clear technical documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for global collaboration
