About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and highly organized Administrative Assistant to join their team in Houston, Texas. This contract position is ideal for an early-career professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to provide comprehensive administrative support. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations by handling a variety of clerical tasks, managing communications, and acting as a reliable liaison between departments.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide diversified and confidential administrative support, independently handling requests and determining the appropriate course of action.
- Manage complex Outlook functions, including email correspondence and calendar scheduling for appointments and meetings.
- Coordinate all logistical and administrative needs for conferences, meetings, and high-level activities.
- Serve as a liaison between departments, intervening where necessary to facilitate communication and workflow.
- Oversee office coordination tasks such as supply orders, badge creation, and security requests.
- Collaborate with the parking team to validate parking tickets on a daily basis.
- Gather, organize, and present information to team members to support decision-making and project needs.
Required Qualifications
- 0–5 years of experience in an administrative or clerical support role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines consistently.
- Proven self-motivation and a proactive, creative approach to problem-solving.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
Preferred Skills
While not required, experience coordinating large-scale meetings or events and familiarity with security or facilities request systems are a plus.
