About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Technical and Administrative Support Specialist to join their Engineering team on a contract basis. This role is the operational backbone for contract administration, project tracking, and data management, ensuring that critical infrastructure projects run smoothly and remain compliant. You will work on-site in West Palm Beach, FL, collaborating closely with engineers, project managers, and public stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the preparation, execution, and tracking of annual contracts, amendments, and interagency agreements to ensure full compliance and timely renewals.
- Maintain and enhance contract and project databases, monitoring key milestones, deliverables, and expiration dates while ensuring data integrity.
- Analyze and update large datasets using Microsoft Access and Excel to generate progress reports, dashboards, and permit-tracking summaries for leadership.
- Serve as a responsive point of contact for internal staff and the public, researching inquiries and providing accurate information on project statuses and documentation.
- Assist in drafting, formatting, and finalizing administrative reports, correspondence, and presentation materials for engineering leadership.
- Identify opportunities to streamline data-entry workflows and improve records-management processes across the department.
Required Qualifications
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, queries, and database design.
- Demonstrated experience in contract administration, project coordination, or technical administrative support, ideally within engineering, public works, or a regulated environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal errors in a deadline-driven setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and present findings clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor when interacting with both internal teams and the public.
- Proficiency with standard office productivity tools and computerized record-keeping systems.
Preferred Skills
