About the Role

Our client, a global leader in renewable energy generation and battery storage, is seeking a Senior Commercial Metering Project Manager to join their Engineering and Construction division. In this contract role, you will oversee metering systems across the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects—from concept development through construction and commissioning. You will ensure that all metering activities align with commercial agreements, technical requirements, and project milestones.

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, with a preference for candidates who can occasionally travel to the Juno Beach, FL office or project sites as needed. You will collaborate closely with engineering, development, business management, transmission services, and external partners to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the engineering, design, and development of commercial metering systems for utility-scale renewable projects.
2. Track and report on project contractual execution, design progress, and schedule adherence.
3. Ensure all metering solutions comply with company standards, policies, and relevant ISO requirements.
4. Prepare and deliver clear communications, presentations, and status updates for internal and external stakeholders.
5. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define customer requirements and resolve technical challenges.
6. Manage third-party engineering firms and equipment vendors to maintain quality, budget, and timeline targets.
7. Identify process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices for metering project execution.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline).
2. 2–5 years of professional experience in project management, engineering, or a related technical role.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of complex metering systems and equipment used in power generation or transmission.
4. Experience interpreting and executing commercial or contractual agreements.
5. Proven ability to coordinate diverse internal and external stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
7. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no alcohol- or drug-related offenses in the past five years).

Preferred Skills

1. Experience with commercial or contract negotiation in an energy or infrastructure setting.
2. Understanding of ISO market requirements and interconnection processes.
3. Familiarity with metering system design, testing, and commissioning standards.
