IT Software Developer Analyst – Level 2 (Full Stack) – Palm Beach Gardens, FL (Onsite) – 6-Month Contract
About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Developer to join an Enterprise Operations Support Services team dedicated to engineering productivity, data-driven decision support, and workflow automation. In this role, you will design, build, and support internal web applications that power engineering and operational teams. This is a 6-month contract position based onsite in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, working standard hours Monday through Friday.
You will collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into maintainable, high-impact software. The ideal candidate brings 6–10 years of hands-on development experience, a strong full-stack skillset, and a passion for mentoring others while driving Agile delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support full-stack web applications used by engineering and operations teams, from UI to backend services.
- Build and enhance data-driven, workflow-based user interfaces using Angular or React with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Develop and maintain secure REST APIs and backend services using C#/.NET and SQL databases (MS SQL preferred).
- Partner with data scientists and engineers to translate business needs into usable, maintainable software solutions.
- Lead development and integration efforts for new and existing applications, including Power BI dashboards and analytics tools.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production application and system issues while ensuring compliance with security policies and industry standards.
- Mentor junior developers, contribute to Agile ceremonies, and drive continuous improvement in testing, documentation, and deployment practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4+ years of professional software development experience delivering and supporting production applications.
- Strong front-end experience with Angular or React, including TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong back-end experience with C#/.NET and REST API development.
- Proficiency with SQL databases (MS SQL preferred) and experience building data-intensive interfaces.
- Hands-on experience working in AWS environments and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, cloud automation, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with Agile methodology, software lifecycle, and scrum ceremonies.
- Understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements such as SOX and cybersecurity best practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Python or Node.js for scripting or backend services.
- Familiarity with Docker, serverless development, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Exposure to web servers like IIS, Nginx, or Apache, and databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Experience with AWS services like Glue, Lambda, SNS, and SQS.
- Relevant certifications in AWS, Microsoft Power BI, or Agile/DevOps methodologies are a plus.
