About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Permit Coordinator – Level 2 to join their engineering and construction operations team in Juno Beach, Florida. This is a 12-month contract position where you will play a critical role in ensuring project compliance, managing documentation, and supporting vendor coordination across regulated workstreams. The ideal candidate brings 6–10 years of relevant experience and thrives in an audit-driven environment that demands precision and proactive communication.
In this role, you will serve as a central point of contact for compliance tracking, reporting, and field coordination. You will work closely with internal teams and external consultants to maintain program integrity, uphold regulatory standards, and keep projects moving forward smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain compliance dashboards, reporting tools, and tracking systems to provide real-time visibility into project status and regulatory adherence.
- Manage end-to-end compliance documentation, ensuring records are accurate, audit-ready, and aligned with internal and external requirements.
- Coordinate vendor and consultant activities, including scheduling, documentation exchange, and performance follow-up.
- Support and sustain audit-driven compliance programs by preparing materials, facilitating reviews, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct field visits to verify on-site compliance, gather documentation, and strengthen coordination between office and project sites.
- Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to identify compliance gaps and recommend practical solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 6–10 years of experience in project coordination, operations support, or administrative project consulting, ideally within construction, engineering, or regulated environments.
- Demonstrated background in construction compliance, field auditing, or similar oversight roles.
- Strong proficiency with compliance tracking tools and Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
- Working knowledge of wage determinations and field practices related to construction or engineering projects.
- Proven experience coordinating vendors, consultants, or third-party service providers.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, human resources, construction management, or a related field.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record: no alcohol- or drug-related driving offenses within the past five years, and the license must not be currently suspended or restricted. This role requires regular driving as part of its duties.
